Millie didn't love lightly. When she loved, she loved deeply and for life. And when she believed something was worth fighting for, she showed up with her whole heart.
She was an enormous force for animal welfare in Baja, personally sponsoring and funding spay and neuter events year after year — helping to ensure that fewer dogs and cats would be born into starvation, abuse, and neglect. At home, she shared her life with a beloved menagerie of rescues: two dogs, Lucy and Reggie, a sweet cat, Maggie, and a tortoise named Randy.
